Mr. P. Shyam M.Tech

Mr. P. Shyam, M.Tech, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE at RGUKT Nuzvid, where he has been serving since June 2012. His expertise includes VLSI Design, FPGA Prototyping, Digital System Design, and IoT applications for healthcare and agriculture. He has taught various subjects, including Architectural Design of IC, Basic Electronics, Digital Logic Design, and Network Theory. He has also attended the UGC-Sponsored Orientation Program at SVU, Tirupati (2017) and the UGC-Sponsored Refresher Course in Computer Science at Andhra University (2018).

Mr. Shyam has received several prestigious awards, including the Silver Award at the Asia Pacific Japan Regional Finals of the InnovateFPGA Global Design Contest (2022) and the Award of Excellence at the InnovateFPGA Design Contest (2019). His research work includes publications in journals and conferences on FPGA-based smart agriculture and IoT. Notable publications include "A Strategical Approach for Implementing Digital Games on FPGA" (2021) and "Smart Irrigation based on Crops using IoT" (2020). He has held key administrative roles, including Administrative Officer (2019–2021), Finance Officer (2016–2018), and Head of the Department (2018–2019, 2022–Present).
