TV5 News channel launched an awareness program on "Save Power Save Nation" with students in RGU IIIT, Nuzvid campus on 28th August, 2012. Students participated in a big rally with several placards exhibiting various slogans regarding the program. The procession moved towards academic blocks from hostels during lunch hour from 12:50PM to 1:00PM.

On the same evening, a live telecast was arranged in seminar hall to gather the opinions of Director, Faculty and Students from E1,E2 and E3 on the program "Save Power Save Nation".
