It has come to light that some untoward incidents are happening in campuses where students were said to have resorted to ungentlemanly conduct and such acts come under the menace of ragging. These acts of indiscipline have been viewed seriously by VC and instructed that strict disciplinary action will be initiated against defaulters if caught doing such acts of. It is to be noted that the higher education institutes are asked to make current academic year (2013-2014) a ragging- free year by government of AP and we, at RGUKT, are going to follow government's guidelines on curbing the menace of ragging in both letter and spirit. All SWOs, ASWOs and wardens in respective campuses are requested to sensitize students on this menace of ragging. The guidelines by UGC enacted by government of India - UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Education Institutes 2009 has been uploaded to university's website for all to go through. |
