Sankarasetti Tripura Prathyusha who is a child prodigy studying the six-year integrated B.Tech course in RGU IIIT- Nuzvid, has been awarded the prestigious Dr.Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan shield and cash prize in the documentary test on factorial themes that was conducted by Dr. Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan Institute, Hyderabad. She also won the first prize and a cash award of Rs. 50,000/-for her contributions in solving of leftover problems by the renowned mathematician Dr. Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan. She has also proposed some new puzzles. Miss Prathyusha has received this prestigious award from Her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Patil, the President of India. Miss. Prathyusha hails from Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
