Ms.Vatti Pothana Kavya (ID No.N120978), studying PUC1 in RGU IIIT,Nuzvid campus represented Andhra Pradesh along with her teammates and secured 5th position in "National School Under-19 Chess Tourney" held from 21-12-2012 to 24-12-2012 at Thane, Bombay. (Dec 29, 2012)

Ms.SAHU RUPIKA, ID No: N091225, student of Engineering 1st year has won the National Level 1st Prize in Telugu Essay Writing Competition on the topic "విజయం వినయాన్ని చేకూర్చాలి" organized by Sri Rama Chandra Mission (SRCM) in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan .
RGU IIIT, RK Valley students participated in Junior's State Hockey meet held at kurnool from January 16th to 20th 2012 and won prizes.
RGU IIIT, RK Valley students participated in Eenadu Cricket Tournaments held at Tirupathi, Kadapa and Vijayawada and won prizes.

Ms.R.Neelima, N081726, a student of ECE Department is the only candidate selected from Andhra Pradesh and awarded 3rd Prize in "Radio Astronomy Winter School-2011" organized by "Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Pune" from 26th December,2011 to 2nd January,2012.

Mr.G.Venu Gopal, N082290 of Chemical Engineering Department has been awarded 1st Prize in the event of "Shruthi Laya(Singing)" held during "Vignan Mahotsav-2012" in VIGNAN UNIVSERSITY,GUNTUR. He received prize from a famous film Music Director, R.P.Patnaik.
Viswanath Venkat Dasari student of RGU IIIT, Nuzvid written book Pharaoh: And The King
One of our students, Mr. Viswanath Venkat Dasari from Nuzvid campus, has authored Pharaoh and the King, published by Author House Publications, USA . He has started writing the book at the age of 11.

D Vivek Sheetal who is a child prodigy studying the six-year integrated B.Tech course in RGU IIIT- Basar, has been provisionally selected for the 56th National School Games Tournament for the year 2009-10 in the event of Fencing U/19 years. The tournaments will be held at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra from 27-12-2010 to 29-12-2010.
