The New Academic Calendar is applicable to all the batches of 6 year Integrated B.Tech Programme.

Academic Year 2012-2013 Starts : July 23^rd 2012

Semester 1 : July 23^rd to November 24^th 2012
MID - SEM Exams	END - SEM Exams	Vacations
September 10^th - September 15^th 2012	November 19^th - November 24^th 2012	Dussera : October 21^st - October 28^th 2012

Semester 2 : November 26^th 2012 to March 31^st 2013
MID - SEM Exams	END - SEM Exams	Vacations
January 28^th - February 2^nd 2013	March 23^rd - March 30^th 2013	Sankranthi : January 13^th - January 20^th 2013

Semester 3 (Summer Semester)	April 1^st to May 11^th 2013 & June 10^th to July 20^th 2013
Summer Semester I (Before Vacation)	April 1^st to May 11^th 2013
Summer Vacation	May 12^th to June 9^th 2013
Summer Semester II (After Vacation)	June 10^th to July 20^th 2013

Academic Year 2013-2014 Starts	July 22^nd 2013

The summer semester (Semester - 3) is optional only to the students of first two years (PUC) of 6 year integrated B.Tech programme. The optional subjects and remedial/improvement subjects will be covered during the summer semester to the students of PUC only.

The semester - 3 (Summer Semester) is a regular semester to all the students of Engineering. The controller of examinations will notify the detailed examination schedule for each semester.
